The Technical Office consists of three departments: Street-Park, Property, and Water and Sewage, and has about 40 employees. We work every day to ensure that our residents have access to clean water, functioning sewage systems, safe traffic, and secure and pleasant environments in the municipality. We manage the municipality's properties and lead projects for new constructions. We plan and maintain green areas, playgrounds, plantings, and park trees so that our residents and visitors can experience a green, vibrant, and attractive living and recreational environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks include repairing and newly constructing water, wastewater, and stormwater pipelines with associated facilities within Vaggeryd municipality.

In addition to work on the water and sewage network, you will also participate in other ground and construction work at the Technical Office. On-call duty is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in construction or equivalent acquired competence. You should be able to work independently as well as with others under your own responsibility. You are meticulous, service-oriented, and can take your own initiatives, and you have a personal interest and aptitude for the work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

We would like you to have experience in pipe laying/construction. Furthermore, good machine skills are desirable. Training in food hygiene, work on roads, and welding training in PE pipes are meritorious.

A B driver's license is required; a BE driver's license is meritorious.
